Where harmony comes to life
Passionate Musicians Creating Harmonious Melodies
David Kalisch and Roger Hicks have a love of music, the guitar and creating vocal harmonies. Having both grown up in the sixties, they are influenced by the folksy/bluesy acoustic sounding music of the time including Bob Dylan, Simon and Garfunkel, the Everly Brothers, James Taylor, Buddy Holly, The Beatles, Neil Young and many more. With this shared interest they came together to form 'Blue Sky' and have given music-making true purpose by raising money for charitable and other causes through busking and public performance. Every penny raised, goes to charity without deduction. For more details see Donations! page.

This year we aim to raise £3,000 for the children of Ukraine and Gaza through the children's charity Save the Children. All donations will go towards Save the Children's response in Ukraine and Gaza as well as other emergencies affecting children around the world.
The Backstory.....
We started fund raising for Ukraine in 2022 and in the two years to December 2023 raised just over £10,000 through busking, concerts and other events. 100% of the funds raised (not one penny was deducted) was sent to the British Red Cross Ukraine Appeal. We hope to add to that total this year through busking for the equally well established charity 'Save The Children'.
